Adelaide Fringe show Tinder Surprise explores the wonders of popular dating app Tinder and the wacky dates that come along with it. Whether you’re looking for the real deal or a quick hook-up, it’s as easy as swiping right…right? Apparently for main characters Fiona and Mike, finding a suitable partner is all the more difficult.
Be confident but not cocky, sweet and not crazy, interesting but not obsessed with yourself and funny but not too funny – there are so many rules in attempt to make a great first impression!
The ninety-minute comedy performance spectacular will have audiences waiting in anticipation to see what date comes along next and laughing all the way through. The large cast of eleven made use of their acting skills well by switching between costumes rapidly and interacting with the audience in a casual manner that fired the humor. The show will also make you consider if bartenders observe and ease drop on your social occasions.
The show itself is organised well as each scene was well constructed with the use of simple props, such as couches, chairs, tables and a bar top, were used effectively.
From crazy stalker girls to a mamma’s boy, sexually charged bogans and a Dracula impersonator, seeing Tinder Surprise will make your personal tinder dates not seem so bad.
