The Adelaide Fashion Festival presented by Mercedes-Benz Adelaide is in full swing, with the runway shows opening in Victoria Square early Thursday night (October 20th). With its flagship store in the heart of Adelaide, it was only fitting for Aussie fashion dynamo BNKR to kick off the AFF Runway 2016.

Styled by Philippa Moroney, leading fashion editor of Vogue Australia, the show featured designs from Finders, Keepsake the Label, The Fifth Label and C/MEO Collective.

The BNKR runway show opened with Finders, a label known for its relaxed, flowing style. The collection featured a series of clean, laidback-yet-elegant pieces that could translate well between beach and city life. Sheer materials and structure at the neck and waist created some gorgeous silhouettes in the loose-fitting designs.

Keepsake the Label came second, with intricate details in the sleeves emphasising the often overlooked beauty of shoulders. The elegant line featured greys and whites, with a pop of mustard and dusty pink here and there. The line featured clean lines with lace, ruffles and loose sleeves for added romance to classic pieces.

The Fifth Label screamed street chic, with a mix of loose shorts, denim pants and casual tops. The neutral colours and variety of styles in this collection provided opportunities to mix-and-match the street style-centred brand.

C/MEO Collective boldly finished the show in a series of black and whites, as well as abstract patterns and a pop of red. Their crisp and structured designs featured button details creating some beautiful lines. The collection utilised a number of statement silhouettes and cut outs to create interesting statement pieces.

The night’s labels were highlighted by accessories from Jaggar footwear and Cinquante jewellery, as well as styling by Clip Joint Salons, Evo Hair and Media Makeup. With such beautiful pieces, BNKR is clearly a great place to go for some of Australia’s best labels.
