Taste your way across Europe at Oktoberfest in the Gardens next Saturday with their large range of imported German beer, cider, wines and beverages.
For the first time, our wonderful city of churches will experience the full glory of the popular Bavarian festival Oktoberfest in the Gardens on Saturday the 15th of October. With less than a week until this European style festival arrives at the Royal Adelaide Showgrounds, attendees can be sure to expect a day of great beer, authentic German food, entertainment and more beer.
Along with Adelaide, the festival will also visit Perth, Melbourne and Sydney with an expected nation-wide attendance of 60,000 people. The day will begin at 2pm with a keg tapping ceremony and follow through until 11pm. Inspired by a passion of the traditional Bavarian festival and a love for great beer, the event will feature the largest beer hall seen across Australia as well as a mixture of live entertainment.
Along with the food and beer, attendees will be able to enjoy a silent disco, roving performers, sideshow alley and multiple stages for live performances.
Be sure to also wear your best German costume to completely fulfill the European style of the festival.
