There are lots of new stalls that have recently popped up in our beloved central markets of Adelaide, one of them being Let Them Eat. This cute little joint has a fitting name for a stall that offers a number of healthy and delicious options for customers, whether they are looking to dine in or have a quick takeaway.

Let Them Eat shares its space with other surrounding stalls, a common characteristic for the marketplace. What sets this particular store a part from others is the welcoming charm it encompasses. The inviting atmosphere draws you in to check the stall out and the menu convinces you to stay! The staff members were mostly of the younger crowd and were very hospitable and welcoming.

Being hungry and looking for a brilliant brunch option, I decided to ask one of the friendly waitresses what they’d recommend for drinks. I was really pleased with her suggestion to go for the protein boostie. The protein boost is filled with the flavours of banana, macadamia nut, peanut butter (my absolute favourite), yoghurt, milk, and honey. This was such a delicious drink to have and I wish there was more in one serving! It was super healthy and tasted very organic, which is what I always look out for. As you can imagine, the drink was very nutty and that’s what was so appealing about this healthy smoothie!

For a nutritious and scrumptious brunch meal, I chose the Breakfast Pot. The presentation of this ‘pot’ in a mason jar was enough to make me want to attach the #foodporn tag on my Instagram post! The pot had Middle Eastern granola with yoghurt, pomegranate, sour cherries, goji berries, and strawberries aka ALL THE BERRIES, pistachios and almonds! For $10, this was an incredibly healthy and flavoursome dish that gave me the kick I needed to feel energised for the rest of the day.

The markets are always full of hidden gems like Let Them Eat, which offers unique and scrumptious options of dishes that you can enjoy getting your morning or early arvo fix. Next time you decide on taking a stroll down the Central Markets, make sure you keep an eye out for this beauty!
